M6T Visits Tawana Community NPO Children’s Home

M6T Adventures

The M6T team took some time off on 18 July last year, to pay a visit to the home of orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children in Glen Marais, Kempton Park. This supportive and caring home is run by founders Mrs Sylvia Mofokeng and Mr Isaiah Chikosi, who host about 20 children aged between 1 and 14 years. We were extremely touched and inspired by their work, and so we reached out to the founders to see if we could lend a hand in any way.

As M6T is an avid believer in supporting the community by participating in various outreach programs, we were happy to help sponsor them by buying and delivering a chest freezer, educational toys, blankets and groceries. We were also very fortunate to spend time with the children during their lunch hour, sharing in the children’s happiness when receiving the toys and blankets.

It was a huge honour to interact with Mrs Mofokeng, the social workers and volunteers, and are in awe of the work they do. At M6T, we do recognise our privilege to be able to make our small contribution to such causes and always try to inculcate that culture amongst our staff.
